There will be a Safety Fair this Saturday, January 26th at the Northwest Neighborhood Center from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We have arranged to have numerous agencies attend to give you valuable information on utility, food, animal and personal safety. Tucson Parks & Rec has donated popcorn. The Council Office has donated bottled water.
Tucson Police will be providing free VIN (vehicle identification number) etching for all of your vehicles. Around 3:00 pm a short lecture on “how to prevent becoming a victim of car break-ins” is scheduled.
Tucson Fire Department is having a puppet show for the children. Pima County/Tucson Bike Safety Program is having two bicycle rodeos for the kids. These rodeos will instruct the kids on safety riding habits.
If anyone has some free time this Saturday, we could use some volunteers to help set up the multi-purpose room. Even if you cannot volunteer, come out and enjoy the afternoon displays.
