That time of the year is coming soon. National Night Out is slated for Tuesday, August 5th. The committee has reserved space at the Northwest Neighborhood Center to hold our community event.
This year we start off with the Tucson Fire Department sending one of their hose trucks to spray volunteers with water between 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Around 6:30 pm there will be a free movie in the teen room.
Between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm the Arizona Nutrition Network van will have various activities set up for all to enjoy.
After sunset, the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association will set up telescopes to view the night sky.
Throughout the evening there will be free popcorn, sno-cones, and ice cream. Anyone wishing to volunteer, please see Tori that night.
Come out and enjoy the fun!
